A detective in the Threat Management Unit supported Buckingham’s petition for a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court last November, telling the judge that Dick believed she was his child and that she was dangerous and mentally unstable.
“One time, that was last year,” she told Mitchell when asked about her sightings at Buckingham’s house. “But I didn’t know I had a restraining order. He wasn’t my father, but he was my biological father.”
Dick told KTLA she currently lives in her car. The Los Angeles Police Department said it is the lead agency in the investigation, as the suspect is linked to other incidents in Los Angeles.
Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974 alongside his then-girlfriend Stevie Nicks.
