Fans chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ as the first glimpse of ‘Ramayana’, titled ‘Rama’, surfaced online with much hype and anticipation. Living up to all the hype in the days leading up to its release on Hanuman Jayanti, this trailer is nothing less than a visual spectacle.The clip was released online at the film’s official title with the caption: “Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life in which the choices he made were always for the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self. His legacy continues to strengthen and empower humanity over time and bring faith in the goodness of the human spirit to resolve all conflicts and bring peace to the world.”
The clip gives fans a sneak peek at the action, adventure, characters, creatures and some epic battle scenes set to hit the big screens this Diwali. Amidst the stunning visuals, the trailer showed the message that reads: “Whenever the world descends into chaos, He is always the answer. Ruling our hearts for over 5,000 years, our protector, our hero, the legend. We celebrate the greatest of all, Maryam Purshottom Rama.”
“But the highlight is the much-awaited reveal of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The clip presents different glimpses of Rama’s journey through different moments of his life as a warrior and a king, and he appears in his royal clothes and decorated with golden jewelry.

The 2-minute 38-second flash gives fans enough time to take viewers on a journey with Lord Rama through Ayodhya, his exile and some battles as he faces off against demons and giants.The trailer was unveiled following a global launch that included previews in Los Angeles and New York, where early reactions praised its scale and ambition. Kapoor himself described Lord Rama as “the guardian of the conscience of billions of people around the world for centuries,” adding that the character “symbolizes compassion, courage, righteousness and tolerance.”

The excitement was amplified by Alia Bhatt sharing in an interaction with fans, “The Ramayana unit is coming out tomorrow… I will be posting it on my social media, so again, please come out and support it,” she said ahead of the release.
