Michael Shanks, the director behind last year’s cult favorite horror film togetherteamed up with Adam McKay, the multi-faceted writer, director, and producer behind films like… Deputy and Don’t look upfor a mysterious project.

An untitled sci-fi comedy written by Shanks has been picked up by Sony Pictures, with McKay attached to direct.

McKay is producing the feature with Todd Schulman via the duo’s Hyperobject Industries banner.
