Despite being Bollywood’s favorite action star, Tiger Shroff has opened up about his fear which is in stark contrast to his on-screen persona. The actor, known for performing high-risk stunts with ease, revealed that he suffers from aerophobia and is considering treatment to deal with it.Interestingly, while his father Jackie Shroff has built a reputation for playing a wide range of roles across languages, Tiger has been largely associated with action-heavy films since his debut in Heropanti (2014), directed by Sabbir Khan. From War to the Baaghi franchise, he has consistently delivered power-packed performances, maintaining a chiseled physique that complements his action image.
“I suffer from aerophobia… and I plan to go to a therapist.”
Tiger spoke about his fears during a conversation with Lilly Singh, where he said, “I’m actually planning to go to a therapist because I have aerophobia. Two years ago, I was on a very turbulent flight and… I have no control over a turbulent flight, right? What do I do?”He added: “Since then, every time I have to get on a plane, I get anxious two days before.
For some reason, I still can’t get over it.”

“Who’s going to tell my brain that?”
While the actor understands the logic behind flight safety, he admitted that fear grips the moment.“Statistics show that flying is the safest mode of transport,” he said. “I’ve spoken to many pilots and they all said that turbulence is just like bumpy roads. That’s the analogy they keep giving me. But who’s going to tell me that? When that happens, it’s a completely different story.”
Tiger also reflected on his need for control, saying, “I wish I had control over it. I like to control every part of my body. I like knowing what I’m doing.”
“It’s really frustrating sometimes.”
The actor also admitted that overthinking seeps into other aspects of his life.“Sometimes it’s really frustrating because I’m indecisive sometimes too, even about how I schedule my day so I can maximize my potential,” he admitted. The actor was last seen in Baaghi 4.
