Celine Dion is back.
The global pop star used a birthday message on Monday to confirm that she will take to the stage again later this year, with a slate of concerts in France at the Paris La Défense Arena starting in September.
“I wanted to let you know that I’m doing great, and I’m managing my health,” Dion said in a video message to her fans. “I feel good, I’m singing again, I’m even dancing a little, obviously I like it very much. But I have to tell you something very important. For the past few years, every passing day, I have felt your prayers and support, your kindness and your love. This year, I am getting the best birthday gift of my life. I have the opportunity to see you, to perform for you again in Paris, starting in September. I feel good, I am strong. I feel excited, and obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I am grateful to you all, I love you all and I will see you soon.
Dionne has had prominent health issues over the past several years, revealing in 2022 that she has a rare neurological disorder, Stiff Person Syndrome. Dion delved into her health issues in the 2024 documentary Me: Celine Dion. Her last full concert came back in 2020, and she returned for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Dion will perform over 10 nights in Paris for her Paris Concerts, starting September 12 and ending October 14. Concert pre-sales will begin on Tuesday, April 7, and the general sale will take place on April 10.
The concerts are produced by AEG Presents, Concerts West and Inter Concerts.
