Me’Arah O’Neal, the daughter of basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, has signed with LIFT Management.

O’Neal, a sophomore in the University of Florida Gators women’s basketball program, is looking to LIFT to help navigate potential sponsorship deal opportunities at the intersection of sports and the expanding creator economy. “Relevance and authenticity. O’Neal’s entry into entertainment via LIFT follows other stars – including brother Sharif – making their way in film and television, including launching their own production banners. Sharif O’Neal became the creative strategist for the Shaq brand, leading efforts to deliver a new vision that connects sports, culture and storytelling to the next generation.

Me’Arah O’Neal welcomes the torchbearer for a family of clubs led by an NBA superstar. She explained: “It’s a blessing but it also comes with responsibility. I’m proud of my family and where I come from, but I’m really focused on trying to create my own path. There are certain expectations or standards that come with that but that just becomes a motivation for me. I want people to respect my name for who I am while still respecting the family heritage.”
