The airport was also awarded Best Airport for Dining in the World, Best Airport in the World in the 60-70 million passengers category, Best Airport Immigration in the World, and Best Airport in Asia.

Five Indian airports are in the list of top 100 airports in the world, with Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) included in the top 30 airports in the world.

There are five Indian airports among the world’s top 100, including Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI), which ranked 28th this year. The airport, which was previously ranked 32nd, rose four places this year. It has also been chosen as the best airport in India and South Asia.

Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport ranked 41st, and was also named ‘Best Regional Airport in India and South Asia’ for the third year in a row at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2026.

Goa’s Manohar International Airport was ranked 64th, while Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport was ranked 66th, with both also climbing from their previous positions.

Changi Airport, which retained the title of best airport in the world for the 14th time, is not just an airport but also serves as a destination, with several parks, arts and entertainment areas within it, ANI reported. The tallest inland waterfall, Al-Jawhara, is one of the most popular attractions for tourists.

The airport is also a major connecting hub for international travel, providing a more seamless experience connecting flights to Southeast Asia. Singapore also offers various accommodation facilities to suit different budgets. The top five airports include Incheon International Airport in Seoul, Haneda and Narita in Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
