On Saturday, March 28, Baena, 28, shared an Instagram post, revealing that he won first place in multiple categories at the NPC Natural Colorado State competition, including the men’s open body heavyweight category, the men’s classic physique category, and the men’s novice physique category.

“Mission accomplished!” he wrote alongside several photos of himself flexing on stage during his bodybuilding debut.

Before entering competitions, Joseph Baena spent time training and receiving advice from his father at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California. Last week, Baena shared photos of Schwarzenegger, 78, helping him work out at the gym. Schwarzenegger looked intently at his son, whom he shares with his former housekeeper Mildred Baena, as he lifted weights. Joseph commented on the post, saying: “You have to shock the muscles!”

According to People, this was the same gym where his father and “Terminator” star Arnold began training after moving to the United States in the 1960s.

The actor has won seven Mr. Olympia titles and five Mr. Universe titles.Hence, Schwarzenegger is widely considered one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, having won the Mr. Olympia title seven times and Mr. Universe five times, before he stopped competing in 1980.
