'Shakti Shalini': Vineet Kumar Singh joins director Anit Padda's horror film as an antagonist

Viineet Kumar Singh has got his next big film. The actor, who has created buzz for his recent performances in ‘Chhaava’ alongside Vicky Kaushal and ‘Jaat’ with Sunny Deol, has reportedly been roped in as the main antagonist in Aneet Padda and Vishal Jethwa’s horror-comedy ‘Shakti Shalini’.Vineet Kumar plays the villain in Shakti Shalini’s filmSingh has reportedly already begun shooting for the film, which went into production last year, reports Variety India. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, ‘Shakti Shalini’ marks the sixth installment in the Maddock Horror universe, following the box office success of films like ‘Stree’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Munjya’, ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Thamma’.

December is also a busy month at the box office with Hollywood blockbusters – ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, ‘Dune: Part Three’ and ‘Jumanji 3’, all arriving within 7 days. While “Doomsday” and “Dune” are expected to clash on December 18, “Jumanji” has been pushed back to December 25.
