Popular “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavcular has reportedly been arrested on assault charges in Florida.
News of the arrest comes courtesy of independent journalist Taylor Lorenz.
Details are scarce at the moment, but Lorenz initially claimed that the 20-year-old, whose real name is Braden Peters, was arrested over a fight between his girlfriend.
“Clavcular was just arrested in Fort Lauderdale on a misdemeanor assault charge (no physical contact or injury required for this charge),” Lorenz wrote, adding:
“The arrest is likely related to a physical fight between Clav’s girlfriend and influencer Jenny Popach who broke into the hype house.
“Jenny Bubach has been making videos on TikTok for months saying she was going to send Clavcular to prison. There are also a lot of weird AI-generated dramas like this on TikTok discussing the situation.
Lorenz later retracted part of that story, stating that it was now unclear exactly why Peters was being held.
“Clough shot an alligator dead today, but Everglades is not in the same county he was arrested in, which is likely not why he was arrested. Clough was arrested on an Osceola County warrant,” she tweeted, adding:

There are many conflicting reports about the cause and circumstances of Peters’ arrest.
Clav was arrested on an Osceola County warrant, TMZ reported.
The outlet also claims he “was hit with a misdemeanor battery charge.”
“Adin Ross confirms in his live stream that Clavcular has just been arrested and Clavcular’s 24/7 live stream has just ended,” one large account on X (formerly Twitter) wrote.
“People believe he may have been captured by the FWC after emptying a storehouse on an allegedly dead alligator earlier.”
The account also shared a video of Clavcular allegedly shooting the dead alligator – but that does not appear to be the reason for his arrest.
Peters, a controversial figure in the online manosphere, instructs his young followers on how to take drastic measures to improve their physical appearance and attract women.
