Three people were killed and another injured after two speeding motorcycles collided head-on in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara district on Sunday, police said.

The accident occurred around 9 am on National Highway 148D (Bhilwara-Tonk). Police officers said that due to the collision, the two motorcycles were completely destroyed, and all four passengers fell about 100 meters away.
“Two motorcycles carrying four people collided head-on due to high speed. Vishal Singh, Narendra and Jitendra died on the spot, while Rahul sustained serious injuries,” said Lokpal Singh, in-charge of Jahazpur police station.
Rahul was rushed to Jahazpur Hospital by locals with the help of an ambulance, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Following the accident, a large number of people gathered at the scene, while the police arrived at the scene to control the situation.
The police transported the bodies to the morgue and informed their families. “The bodies have been kept in the morgue and an autopsy will be conducted after the arrival of the relatives,” Lokpal Singh added.
Initial investigations indicate that excessive speed led to the accident, and investigations are still ongoing.
