Originally scheduled for a May 2026 release, “Animal Friends”, the highly anticipated film starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa, will now hit theaters on January 22, 2027. The release has been delayed due to its impressive cast, which includes Aubrey Plaza and Dan Levy.

The release date for the live-action hybrid film “Animal Friends” starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa has been moved again. The road trip adventure feature is now scheduled to hit theaters on January 22, 2027, after previously being scheduled for May 1, 2026.

Before that, the film was scheduled to be released on October 10, 2025.The film moved from Sony to Warner Bros after the Legendary deal in the Culver City area fell through.
