MS NOW is stuck on Morning Joe.

The cable channel has signed new long-term deals with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, Hollywood Reporter And he confirmed.

Axios, which first reported the deal, says the contracts will run until the end of 2029.

The new deal keeps the power duo, and perhaps two of the most powerful on-air personalities, on the channel after the 2028 election. Not bad for a program that was originally a fill-in program when it launched on MSNBC nearly 20 years ago in 2007. This temporary show has since become a flagship of MS NOW’s lineup.

Last week, MS NOW President Rebecca Kotler announced a major overhaul of its product lineup, including trimming Morning Joe From four hours to three original hours.

But Scarborough has also begun to move beyond television, launching a newscast called The Tea, which expands the scope of the show into the afternoon.

Scarborough said THR Last year, they wanted to do more than just showcase, and MS NOW’s new headquarters inside Versant will enable them to do that faster. Reducing their live broadcast hours will allow them to develop more ideas.

“When you’re at GE or Comcast, there’s layer after layer after layer,” Scarborough said. “What CEO Mark [Lazarus] I’m very excited about it, what Rebecca is very excited about, and what I’m really excited about now is how entrepreneurial they’re going to be.
