Kenji Tanigaki’s film is a mix of the best Asian action films ever made, starring Chinese actor Xie Miao (aka Mu Tse, who starred with Jet Li in The New Shaolin Legend and My father is a hero) and Indonesian star Joe Taslim (yes, the guy from Raid Movies and also Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat films). The cast also includes Yayan Ruhayan, a favorite Indonesian action star (another Gareth Evans star). raid Movies) and Thai actress Yanin Vismitananda (Invaders of Europe, Triple threat).

The angry one It premiered as part of the 2025 Toronto Film Festival’s Midnight Madness sidebar and was a hit with viewers, taking second place in the People’s Choice Award. Following its debut at TIFF, Lionsgate acquired worldwide rights to the film (excluding China, Hong Kong and Macau).
