Iran issued an “eye for the head” warning to Donald Trump, saying the US would face a harsher response if it attacked Iranian infrastructure, as Tehran hardened its stance on ending the war.Former Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Mohsen Rezaei said the war would continue until “all the damage to Iran is compensated and the sanctions imposed on it are lifted. We also want international guarantees that the United States will not interfere in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic – and this is the decision of the people of our country, the Supreme Leader and the Armed Forces,” Fars News Agency reported.

Rezaei said that if Trump attacks Iran’s infrastructure, “it will not be an eye for an eye, but rather an eye for the head, hand and foot,” warning that “America will be paralyzed.”
Iran has hardened its negotiating stance amid the ongoing conflict, with senior officials in Tehran indicating that any move toward peace talks will depend on broad concessions from Washington. At the core of Tehran’s position is a firm insistence that any negotiations must first end the war, while securing guarantees against future military action, compensation for wartime losses, and formal control of the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said on Monday that there were “key points of agreement” with Iran after discussions over the weekend, as the two sides continued talks amid the ongoing conflict. The US President also said that the two sides are discussing a 15-point framework to end the conflict, adding that if the talks do not go well, “we will continue to pound our little hearts here.”Despite Trump’s claim that Washington held “very robust talks” with Tehran more than three weeks into the conflict, Iranian officials have publicly denied any direct involvement.
