Laguna Beach Not Dunzo.

On Tuesday, the Roku Channel released the official trailer for the movie Reunion: Laguna Beachwhich reunites the reality series’ original stars: Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, Lou Bosworth, Talan Torero, Trey Phillips, Christina Schuler, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, and Alex Hauser, 20 years later.

The original Laguna BeachInspired by the Fox teen drama okayIt premiered on MTV in 2004 and ran for three seasons until 2006.

To kick things off, the trailer begins with Conrad and Cavallari sitting together at a bonfire on the beach. “We’ve never had a conversation on camera, just the two of us,” Cavallari told Conrad, to which she replied, “No.”

Next, Hilary Duff’s 2003 song “Come Clean” – the theme song for… Laguna Beach. Oh, nostalgia!

Throughout the trailer, an old feud between Conrad and Cavallari resurfaces, which stems from a love triangle between the two and Coletti. While in high school, Cavallari and Colletti dated, while Conrad was a close friend of his and had feelings for him. The teens were selected when MTV came to their high school and held an open casting call. Cavallari recalls what she thinks the cast got: “[Producers] He said, “Who do you think will be prom queen?” I said, “I don’t know and I don’t care as long as it’s not Lauren Conrad.”

“We didn’t like each other,” Conrad adds.

However, it should be noted that in 2022, Conrad appeared in an episode of Cavallari and Colletti. Back to the beach podcast, they apologized to each other for the drama, and claimed that MTV played it off.

The two-hour reunion special will include behind-the-scenes stories, cast reactions to memorable episodes like Cabo and Return to Laguna Beach, and reflections on the friendships they formed, the love triangles and drama that ensued – all from a different perspective.

“For all of us, it’s been difficult to reconsider for various reasons. It feels like now is the right time,” Cavallari says.

Several cast members can be seen getting emotional in the trailer. “It’s a serious, total moment,” Colletti says.

Reunion: Laguna Beach Premiering on Roku on April 10.
