Three men were arrested in Bengaluru, Karnataka after a video clip showing them drinking alcohol while riding a motorcycle on a busy road went viral on social media platforms.

The clip shows three young men, later identified as doctors, engaging in dangerous behavior while riding a bike in traffic.
The incident occurred at BTM Layout on Sunday evening, according to a report by India Today. In the footage, the bike can be seen weaving between vehicles, endangering not only cyclists but others on the road.
What particularly angered the public was the sight of a rear-seat passenger calmly drinking from a beer bottle mid-flight. While he was wearing a helmet, the passenger and another passenger were without any protective gear, further highlighting the disregard for basic safety standards.
The video quickly sparked violent reactions online, with many users describing the incident as irresponsible and dangerous, especially in crowded urban areas where such actions can easily lead to serious accidents involving pedestrians and other motorists.
After noticing the clip that went viral, the Bengaluru City Police took action on their own. Officials began tracking down those involved by analyzing CCTV footage from the surrounding area along with photos circulating online. This led to the identification and arrest of the three individuals, who were found to be doctors working in separate private hospitals.
The police later confirmed that the accused were released on bail, as the crimes against them fall within the bailable categories.
In a separate update, the Bengaluru Traffic Police highlighted the volume of traffic violations in the city. During a special enforcement campaign conducted between March 16 and 22, authorities recorded 634 cases of drunk driving. In addition to fines of up to $1.29 lakh were collected for speeding tickets during the same period.
