The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) on Monday announced the Class 12 board exam results, with girls once again outperforming boys.

The girls were topper in the Class 12 arts and commerce streams in the Bihar state board exams, while the boy topped in the science stream. Check your result here.
Topped the science stream Aditya Prakash Aman of Samastipur, while Sakshi Kumari and Seeta Kumari secured second position in the table.
The topper in the arts section is Nishu Kumari from Gaya, while Siddhi Shukla from Sitamarhi, Chanderdeep Kumar from Lakhisarai and Muhammad Zaki Ansari from Purnia secured second position in the stream.
Aditi Kumari from Patna topped the commerce section of the exam and Mahi Kumari, also from Patna, secured second position.
Aditya scored 96.20% marks in Science stream, making him the state topper and the only boy to rank first in any stream. The valedictorian in arts, Nishu Kumari, obtained 95.8 percent, while the valedictorian in commerce obtained a total score of 480.
This year, the overall pass rate was 85.19 percent, down slightly from last year’s 86.56 percent. In 2024, the overall pass rate was slightly higher at 87.21 percent. In terms of flow, arts scored 86.15 percent, commerce 94.88 percent, and sciences 87.80 percent.

The results of the twelfth grade were announced via a press conference. Minister Sunil Kumar announced the result at the BSEB office. The event was attended by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore and Dr P Rajendra, Chief Secretary.
The Bihar State Board examination for Class 12 began on February 2 and concluded on February 13, 2026. The examination was held in two shifts: the first from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and the second from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. Students had 15 minutes (between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM in Shift 1 and between 2 PM and 2:15 PM in Shift 2) as a cool-down period.
