Israel says the war on Iran is entering a “decisive stage”

Israel said the war against Iran was entering its “decisive phase” on Saturday, as explosions rocked cities across the Middle East, with strikes on the US embassy in Baghdad and a major Emirati energy facility.

Security sources said that Washington’s embassy in Iraq was bombed by a drone, the second time it had been targeted since February 28, when the United States and Israel attacked Iran and plunged the Gulf into a conflict that shook the global economy. Clouds of black smoke rose on Saturday over Fujairah, home to the UAE’s main oil storage and export terminal, shortly after the Iranian military warned Emirati civilians to avoid port areas.

The Israeli military warned on Saturday that it might strike ambulances and medical facilities it said were being used illegally by Hezbollah in Lebanon, but did not provide evidence for the claim. “As part of its terrorist activities, Hezbollah extensively uses ambulances for military purposes,” Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee said in statements to Channel X. Israeli strikes Since March 2, 826 people have been killed: Lebanon The Lebanese Ministry of Health said on Saturday that Israeli raids have killed 826 people, including 65 women and 106 children, since the start of the war with Hezbollah, adding that 2,009 others were injured. A ministry statement said that 31 paramedics were among the dead, raising a previous toll after the bodies of additional health workers were found following a night strike that authorities said hit a health care center in the south of the country.
