'Illegitimate Foreign Indian Hindu Family': Row after Vivek Ramaswamy introduces newborn Savitri in campaign video

A row erupted after Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican gubernatorial candidate in Ohio, and his wife Apoorva Ramaswamy introduced their newborn daughter Savitri in an election ad. The video showed the couple’s children meeting their new sister while Vivek kissed the baby girl. The ad focused on Ramaswamy’s commitment to Ohio’s families, safe communities, good schools and giving every family a fair shot at economic security. Apoorva Ramaswamy appears in the ad for the first time, brushing off criticism that the video might attract trolling. “Bringing a new baby home puts everything into perspective. I am Apoorva Ramaswamy. Nothing means more to my husband Vivek than being a father.

He knows Ohio families work hard but fall behind. Like every parent, he wants safe communities, great schools, and a country where hard work means you can buy your house, your groceries, and your future. Vivek is running for governor to give every family a fair chance at a better life so Ohio’s future stays here, the ad said. After the release, controversial comments on X appeared.

“The descendant of another illegal alien becomes a U.S. citizen with birthright in Ohio,” wrote Eric Jonathan Brewer, a self-described investigative journalist.

Vadakanchery Ganapathy Ramaswamy and Geetha Ramaswamy’s illegal foreign Hindu family line is growing. More 33 resident deities in 1 Ohio deity.Indian-origin political commentator Mehek Cook responded to Brewer, defending Ramaswamy’s family and criticizing the targeting of race and religion. “There is a stark difference between legal immigrants who assimilate, contribute, and build in America — and illegal immigrants.

Attacking someone’s race, faith, and family is hate. If success and absorption offend you, that says it all.

God bless you,” Cook wrote.Cook also shared her reaction to the campaign video, where she praised the family and Ohio’s future: “We have a bright future in Ohio. Congratulations to VivekGRamaswamy and Apoorva on welcoming their daughter. As a father of three, Vivek knows exactly what is at stake and there is no one who will fight harder for our children and the next generation of Ohioans.”
