For bird watchers, Mallathahalli Lake offers great sightings of waterbirds such as herons, egrets, cormorants and herons. There are also kingfishers, swallows, and waders such as the red sandpiper, common sandpiper, and wood sandpiper. While hiking, remember to wear camouflage or earth-colored clothing and bring your binoculars or camera or just shoot with your phone.

Paper Gardens is an exploration of botanical drawings by Indian artists commissioned by the East India Company, tracing how plants were studied, drawn, and distributed at the height of the British Empire. Over one hundred illustrations, it examines the encounters between artists, plants, and institutions. They view botanical drawings as living documents, images of the relationships between empire and subject, and highlight Indian artists whose works have not received proper recognition.

Sanam returns to Bengaluru to fuse her distinctive contemporary sound with old world charm. The show is part of her 10-city India tour.
