Pre-sales of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ show no signs of slowing down. The film, which stars Ranveer Singh, is just a week away from its release and is already looking to make a $3 million debut at the North American box office. The sequel to the 2025 blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’ is all set to make a strong start to its box office run. Early box office reports indicate that the film’s advance collections for North American premieres have totaled an estimated US$975,000, according to Box Office Finke.

Opening day collections in North America, including premieres, generated advance sales of US$1.45 million. Meanwhile, its first weekend collections totaled an estimated US$2.8 million.
With a week to go before the film’s worldwide release, it remains to be seen how much the film can do at the box office and set a new record for advance ticket sales. Of the total revenues, Texas had the highest total at $162,198, California came in second with a total revenue of $145,686, and New Jersey brought in an estimated $68,868. According to the report, the film’s Hindi release alone generated a staggering US$874,000 in revenue.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ conflicts with ‘Hail Mary Project’
While Yash’s directorial film ‘Toxic’ has emerged from the box office battle with ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the Ranveer starrer still has to take on the Hollywood sci-fi film ‘Project Hail Mary’ starring Ryan Gosling in the lead. The film, which hits big screens on March 20, is currently eyeing a US$60-70 million opening, according to early box office projections.

Meanwhile, as per the latest data, the film’s premieres have already registered a whopping total of Rs 19.01 crore in advance bookings.
Meanwhile, the film’s total gross collection, taking into account blocked seats, thus pushes the film’s lead to an estimated Rs 24.2 crore.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will have a wide release
It is worth noting that ‘Dhurandhar’ opened at the box office last year with a total net revenue of Rs 28 crore, in Hindi only. For the sequel, the team ensured a wide release for the film in Indian as well as southern markets by dubbing the film into Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
