Weather alert for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: The National Center of Meteorology warns of rain, strong winds, and low visibility in several areas

The National Center of Meteorology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued orange and yellow weather alerts in several regions of the Kingdom, warning residents of rainfall, strong winds, and low horizontal visibility in several regions.The National Center of Meteorology issued orange warnings indicating moderate to heavy weather conditions, accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, for parts of the Riyadh region and the Makkah region.In the Riyadh region, the fire warning includes Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, Al-Muzahmiyah and Hotat Bani Tamim from 12:15 pm until 11 pm, while the city of Riyadh and Diriyah are expected to witness similar conditions starting at 1 pm.

Until 11:00 pmThe National Center of Meteorology also issued an orange alert for areas of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, including Adham and Maysan, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Authorities warned that the weather system could bring rain, strong winds, reduced visibility, hail, flooding and thunderstorms.In addition to these warnings, the National Center of Meteorology issued yellow level alerts for several locations throughout the Medina region, the Riyadh region, the Eastern Province, and the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

In the Medina region, light fog is expected over Al-Rayyis and Yanbu between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., with horizontal visibility decreasing to between 3 and 5 kilometers, according to the National Center of Meteorology.Parts of the Riyadh region are also expected to witness active winds. The National Center of Meteorology said that wind speeds may reach 40 to 49 kilometers per hour in Dawadmi and Afif from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., which may lead to low horizontal visibility.As for the eastern region, light rain is expected in Jubail, Al-Khobar, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, and Ras Tanura from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., accompanied by active winds, thunderstorms, and the possibility of decreased horizontal visibility, according to the National Center of Meteorology.The National Center of Meteorology warned of the possibility of light rain in Taif, in the Makkah region, from one o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening, with active winds, thunderstorms, and low horizontal visibility during this period.
