“Seven together, we can do anything”: Netflix releases trailer for BTS Comeback concert

“Seven together, we can do anything,” said RM, BTS’ leader, in the voiceover for the first trailer for Netflix’s streaming concert heading to the platform later this month.

The K-pop supergroup, consisting of members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, is set to make their long-awaited comeback in March. The band releases its first album in years Arirangafter their group hiatus so that the members could complete their mandatory military service in Korea.

Netflix announced its own show, BTS Go Live | ArirangLast month, a live performance by the seven-member group was broadcast, which will be broadcast on the platform on March 21. The live broadcast — the album’s first global performance, which will be released on March 20 — is broadcast live from Gwanghwamun, a popular landmark in Seoul that offers views of the city’s famous Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The Netflix trailer didn’t offer many details, but it did give ARMY, the group’s dedicated fanbase, a sneak peek at the group. While playing videos of the group’s concert, Jung Kook, the youngest member of the group at 28 years old, can be heard saying, “Very emotional. I really miss them,” referring to ARMY. Jimin, 30, adds: “Let’s get back out there!”

RM, 31, can be heard in the voiceover. “We promised our fans that we would be back,” he said. The trailer then shows off a cinematic arrangement of the fan-favorite song, “Mikrokosmos,” from the group’s 2019 EP, Map of the soul: the persona, where “The biggest band in the world is back” is shown. Each member of the group is displayed in front of the palace. Only a few promotional materials have been released for the group’s upcoming album, so seeing the members posing on a live stream will likely be a bit tough for ARMY.

After the live broadcast, the Netflix show will premiere BTS: Back“, an “intimate documentary chronicling the making of the band’s new album,” according to a statement. It will premiere a week after the live broadcast on March 27 on the streaming platform.

The seven-member K-pop group is also preparing to embark on their first full-scale all-group tour in years. The tour, which runs from 2026 to 2027, will hit Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia, making it one of the most expansive tours of the group’s career.

The tour will begin with three nights in Goyang, South Korea, before heading to Tokyo for two nights. BTS is next scheduled to head to the United States for a stop in Tampa. The group then travels around the world with stops scattered throughout the United States. The group is expected to make 79 stops.

After selling out massive amounts of their 2021 Permission to Dance on Stage in Los Angeles, the group is set to return to Inglewood’s SoFi Arena on September 1-2 and September 5-6. The tour will feature a 360-degree theatrical design, providing an immersive experience for the audience.
