Katie Bates can’t seem to give up the marital fight.

As previously reported, the reality star opened up in January about suffering a miscarriage.

Very soon after, husband Travis Clark admitted to the world that he was having an affair. OKhuh? Whether in terms of timing or the action itself.

Bates didn’t go into many details regarding her feelings about the betrayal, other than to say late last month that she was headed into intensive therapy.

And based on her latest social media post, it appears that Bates has completed these sessions.

“Just wrapped up a four-day intensive treatment,” Katie wrote via Instagram Story on Monday, March 2.

“At some point, I may share more, but for now I’m really grateful for the experience and what I’ll walk away with. I’ve spent the last few days in both individual and couples therapy.”

The 25-year-old added:

“It’s been difficult and emotional. It’s stretched in ways I didn’t quite expect. But it’s also been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’m leaving better than I came, and that alone feels like an answered prayer.”

Clark and Bates began dating in 2019… got engaged in April 2021… and then married that December.

They welcomed daughter Hailey in February 2023 and son Harvey in September 2024.

Clark, for his terrible part, admitted his infidelity on Instagram on January 17.

“It’s hard to write this, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and broke her trust over and over again,” Travis wrote at the time. “There is no justification for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone.”

He continued as follows:

“I know words don’t begin to express the damage I’ve caused or the depth of the hurt I’ve caused her life, but I am truly sorry. I am sorry for the pain, humiliation and betrayal I have caused my wife through my choices.

“I understand that an apology doesn’t fix what you broke, and that forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for. I take responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and responsible man, regardless of the outcome.

“I ask for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes this matter in her own time.”

Travis Clark shared an Instagram story admitting to cheating on his wife. This is a screenshot of recognition in dark mode.

Bates also issued a statement of her own, saying that she and Travis are seeking advice together and individually, and that she is receiving support from legal counsel.

But she added that her “heart’s desire” was to “preserve” her marriage.

Considering that the couple is part of the Institute for Basic Life Principles (IBLP)? The same church and belief system that the Duggar family shares?

It’s safe to assume they stay together.
