Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen have a lot going for them a little The problem is on their hands in the newly released trailer for The mini wife.
The Peacock series, based on a short story by Manuel Gonzalez, “is a dramatic drama that examines the (im)balance of power between a couple after a technological mishap leads to the ultimate relationship crisis,” the official registry states.
“My husband and I,” Banks’ Lindy Littlejohn says at the beginning of the clip (below), “we take turns supporting each other. So he supported me through my first book, and now it’s my turn.”
However, this support was put to the test when McFadden’s Lee Littlejohn developed what he called the “miracle of miniaturization”, which supposedly helped crops. But when Lindy is sprayed on by accident and shrinks to a few inches tall, Liz must quickly find a way to return her to her normal size.
“How long until you can fix me?” Banks’ character asks Liz at the end of the trailer.
OT Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones, Sian Clifford, Sofia Rosinski, Ronnie Cheng, Asif Mandvi, Rong Fu and Tricia Black round out the cast.
The mini wife It was created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner, who also serve as showrunners and executive producers. Banks, Macfadyen, Michael Aguilar and Susan Heathcote also executive produce alongside Michael Ellenberg and Lindsay Springer for Media Res and Greg Mottola.
