Launching the tour, during which 24 youth from different communities of the state will visit Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata and Mumbai to spread the message of harmony, Singh asked the Kuki students if they had food.

During the interactive session with the youth participating in the tour, the Prime Minister asked the Kuki youth in their dialect: “Bu na neh tah am?” . The response from the six Kuki youth was: “Ka ni tai,” an official statement said.

In a symbolic gesture of unity and inclusion, a group was formed, including one member from each community, and were handed a flag representing collective harmony and shared identity.

He said that the National Integration Tour is an important initiative aimed at strengthening unity through exposure, understanding and exchange of experiences.

“By visiting Kerala and Tamil Nadu, our youth will have the opportunity to witness the diverse cultural landscapes, developmental strides and rich traditions that define the soul of India,” the Prime Minister added.

He added, “It was a pleasure to distribute travel kits to the touring members and interact with them about the different dimensions of the journey ahead. Such initiatives broaden perspectives, foster mutual respect, and strengthen the emotional bond that unites our great nation. I hope this tour inspires our young minds to appreciate diversity, embrace inclusivity, and contribute meaningfully to India’s continued progress and integration.”
