Some clips indicated speeds exceeding 107 mph. Short videos of him switching lanes and passing other cars quickly began spreading across the Internet. The situation became even greater when other well-known streamers responded. Felix “xQc” Lengyel strongly criticized the driving, calling it reckless and dangerous. Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt also shared his point of view and said that such behavior on live streams is unsafe. Meanwhile, Jerry “Silky” denied the allegations.

He said he was only driving about 70 mph in a 65 mph zone and would never risk anyone’s life. As of now, Jerry “Silky” Twitch channel remains active.

The controversy began after the clips were shared on Reddit’s LivestreamFail community. In the footage, Jerry “Silky” can be seen listening to Lil Uzi Vert while changing lanes and passing cars at high speed. Some viewers pointed out that the navigation screen during the broadcast showed numbers like 107, 115 and possibly 118 mph.

Felix “xQc” Lengyel had a strong reaction during his stream. He said: “Putting grandma in danger trying to get to Feng Bingo, and putting the Feng family in danger trying to get back from work is crazy, you’re stupid as…this shit is embarrassing, it’s embarrassing…what’s wrong with these people anyway.”

After hearing about the criticism, Jerry “Silky” responded to X from a separate account. He wrote: “What a bot, bro said I was pushing my car beyond the limit, was going 70 to 65 with minimal traffic (LMAO), and I would never put anyone’s life at risk for a dopamine rush gang.”Later, Felix “xQc” Lengyel reviewed the footage again and said: “I don’t want to be a narc, you’re already hitting 107… Deada**, you’re hitting 115.”Zach “Asmungold” Hoyt also gave his opinion. He said: “I’ll probably at least give him a warning. You can’t drive like that while broadcasting. It’s not safe at all… If there was a cop out there, do you think this guy would be arrested? Maybe he would… I try to be liberal with this kind of thing… It’s reckless driving. Someone driving like that is really dangerous on the road.”At this time, Twitch has not announced any action. Debate continues online as viewers remain divided over what actually happened during the March 1 broadcast.
