The sudden closure of airspace across parts of the Middle East due to the escalating conflict between the US, Israel and Iran has created panic among travelers and residents. At a time when flights were canceled and airports were preparing to close, music composer Santhosh Narayanan managed to leave the area in time. However, his social media post quickly went viral when he announced he was on one of the last flights to take off before the layover, turning it into a high-stakes mission to leave the drama behind.
Santhosh Narayanan’s emotional message is in the air
The “Seyon” composer shared that he boarded the plane shortly before many countries began closing their skies. While traveling towards the United States, he described the moment he got an internet connection in the air as very emotional. His first comment was about people stranded in the disaster-hit area. He prayed for them, called them his brothers and sisters, and expressed his sympathy for the fear they felt.

Missile alerts, airport closures, emergency warnings, and fear of stranded passengers
The confrontation in the area coincided with missile tests that sent text messages and safety instructions to cell phones at the site. The inoperability of some airports and the suspension of commercial air travel have left many in limbo. Concern among family members about what was published on social media was clear, despite the guarantees of the ground forces.
Santhosh Narayanan’s busy film projects
With his experimental and trademark sound, Santhosh Narayanan continues to be the composer of choice for most Hindi films with a lot of assignments across languages. Karthi’s ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ was his latest release. His next project involves composing music for major films, including Sivakarthikeyan’s Seyon.
