“One shot makes you hot,” the slogan reads beautyFX’s new black comedy series filled with body horror.
In what Hollywood Reporter Chief television critic Daniel Feinberg describes it as a “sometimes provocative mix of”. Nip/tuck And different American Horror Story Duplicates,” Ryan Murphy beauty – Written and co-written by Matt Hodgson – focuses on a mysterious drug that promises unimaginable physical attraction. “Beauty” can also be transmitted sexually, and can transform its users into what society deems ideal, but not without the risk of devastating side effects. The offer asks: How much are you willing to sacrifice for eternal youth?
Joining the ride is a star-studded cast, including Murphy cast members Evan Peters and Jeremy Pope, along with first-time Murphy hair additions like Ashton Kutcher, plus a roster of notable guest stars.
The series premieres with three episodes released on Wednesday, January 21 (9 p.m. ET on FX), and the remaining episodes are released weekly across the 11-episode season, with two episodes released in each of the final two weeks. Bella Hadid as Ruby

Kutcher said THR He was drawn to the project after having an interesting conversation with Murphy, who wrote his role in the series with the actor in mind. “He’s one of the greatest writers on the planet,” Kutcher said.

Isabella Rossellini as Frannie Forrest

The character is likely a reference to Rossellini’s role in the body horror comedy Death becomes hers (1992), which also explores vanity, aging and the desire for youth.

Amelia Gray Hamlin as Harper

Harper eventually explodes and dies.
