Singer Sonu Nigam’s father, Agam Kumar Nigam, has bought a property worth Rs 10 crore in Mumbai’s Madh Island. The plot of land, which is called “Mango Villa,” has an area of 1,197 square metres, and includes residential and commercial buildings. Registered on February 18, 2026, the deal adds to the Nigam family’s growing real estate portfolio in the celebrity-favorite neighbourhood.

Singer Sonu Nigam’s father, Agam Kumar Nigam, recently bought a property that includes an existing structure on Madh Island for Rs 10 crore, according to details from property documents reviewed by Liasis Foras.

The deal includes a 1,197 square meter plot of land comprising a ground floor and one-storey residential and commercial building named Mango Villa. Located within the Suchak Cooperative Housing Society Limited in Madh Island, the property comprises a built-up area consisting of a two-storey IT structure of 2,329 sq. ft. and an additional residential unit of 725 sq. ft.

Agam Kumar Nigam Property Transaction Registration Details
The deal was officially registered on February 18, 2026, with a stamp duty of Rs 50,000 and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 paid.
The drug was acquired from Swapna Kak and Rani Doshi (Verma), also known as Rani Amar Verma. Efforts to contact Agam Nigam and the vendors for comments did not yield a response.
Background of Agam Kumar Nigam and his connection with Sonu Nigam
Besides being the father of singer Sonu Nigam, Agam Kumar Nigam is a singer and theater actor in his own right. He has been part of many cultural programs and live performances over the years and played an important role in nurturing his son’s early music career.
Sonu Nigam was also active in Mumbai’s real estate scene in 2024, as he bought a commercial space in Andheri worth Rs 7 crore, and in 2025, he leased a property in Santacruz East for five years, with a total rental of over Rs 12.61 crore.
