“If the truth can be ascertained through drug testing, then it should definitely be done. Any available means should be adopted to uncover the truth,” he told reporters here.

The anticipatory bail application is likely to be heard by the Allahabad High Court around 3.45 pm on Friday. His disciple, Sanjay Pandey, said Avimukteswaranand continued his routine religious activities and performed his daily prayers as usual. A large number of media professionals were present at the mathematics event.

Avimukteshwaranand said that his lawyers are present in court and will present all evidence before it.

“Falsehood does not last long. Those who fabricated a false story will be exposed. When people learn about this fabricated case, the truth will emerge,” he said.

He asked about the allegations linked to the medical examination reports, and said: “How can a medical report prove our involvement? It is said that the report proved misconduct. This may be someone’s statement, but what meaning does the medical report that was conducted have after all these days?”

He said that even if any violations occurred, the person responsible would not be automatically determined. “A child who never came to us cannot be easily associated with our name,” he said.

The seer also alleged that the children were staying with the complainant, Ashutosh Brahmachari alias Pandey, and wondered why they were not sent to a juvenile home.

He referred to media reports claiming that the children were being held at a hotel in Hardoi, and claimed that they were not allowed to meet journalists.

He also accused the police of protecting the complainant and preparing statements against him. He added: “No matter how complex the fabrication is, the truth will emerge in the end.”

Earlier on Thursday, Avimukteswaranand termed the case against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act and related provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita as “false”. He claimed it was an attempt to smear him and divert attention from the globally discussed “Epstein files”.

He told reporters that he had sought anticipatory bail from the Supreme Court to protect the dignity of the institution he represents in the name of Shankaracharya in Jyotirmath, and asserted that neither he nor his mentor had any connection with the complainants.
