Formula 1: Driving to survive It is recognized as the best sports program. Sesame Street For the best program for children. The making of adolescence For best short programme; and The Wizard of Oz in the field (Sphere Entertainment Co.) received a PGA Innovation Award. The awards were presented Thursday night at The Aster Hotel in Hollywood.
Due to inclement weather in New York City, all categories were announced on Thursday night instead of the two separate ceremonies planned (the first was initially scheduled for Monday to announce the Children’s and Sports categories; the Thursday event to announce the Short Form and PGA Innovation Award).
Also Thursday night, Lydia Dean Belcher was honored with the Vance Van Petten Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. Additionally, Jessica Lee was announced as a recipient of the Debra Hill Fellowship, which supports emerging producers.
The full list of 2026 PGA Awards winners will be announced Saturday at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Nominees for the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of a Theatrical Motion Picture, which has historically mostly matched the winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture, include: Pogonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, Battle After Battle, Sentimental Value, Sinners, Dream Train and Weapons. (last year, Anora He won the award before dominating the 2025 Academy Awards.)
