During a two-day official visit to Israel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met several delegates and participated in discussions aimed at deepening bilateral relations in various sectors including science, technology, innovation, research, cybersecurity, agriculture, water, defence, and trade. He also took some time out of his schedule to learn about the Israeli film industry by interviewing the team behind the popular series “Fauda.”

“Fortunately, this interaction only required a selfie, no undercover work! #Fauda,” PM Modi wrote.

The Israeli series “Fauda” has gained great popularity in India, and in recent years, many of its actors have visited the country.

In 2022, Halevy visited India for the first time and met many celebrities of Indian cinema including Anupam Kher, Imtiaz Ali and Vivek Agnihotri.

He also appeared in the Bollywood movie ‘Akeli’ alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha.

Speaking about the opportunity, Halevy had earlier said, “It is a great opportunity to be a part of this colorful world of Indian cinema! I am very excited and blown away by the script when I heard it for the first time! It has been truly wonderful working with the entire crew of Akelli and I am sure it will be an emotional and memorable film.”

In 2022, Lior Raz and Avi Issakharov attended the Asian premiere of the fourth season of their hit project at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. (that I)
