To cope with the pressure, he invited approximately 30 crew members to join him in a bizarre but exuberant ritual of screaming and howling, turning the grueling prep into a wild mass launch.

Maggie Gyllenhaal’s reimagining of “Frankenstein” is called “The Bride!” And it’s all people can talk about now, thanks to Christian Bale. The star turns into Frankenstein’s monster, while the film focuses on Jessie Buckley, who turns into his bride. While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the star was in excruciating pain as the makeup application took the team nearly 6 hours.
Bill endures everything for his character; However, even this was a huge challenge for him. While talking about it, he said that sitting still for so long made him “crazy.”
How did Christian Bale handle everything?
Christian Bale had a unique way of handling makeup and everything, and he revealed that nearly 30 people joined in on the crazy exercise! He revealed that by the end of the makeup, he would have the people around him screaming and howling like crazy.
Describing it all as a “great bonding experience,” the star also shared, “Man, I’m telling you, the whole crew got involved at the end, because people could hear us screaming. We would open the doors, and gradually, like a bridal revolution, a few more people would go, ‘Can we do that too?'” And by the end, there were about 30 people hearing us and running to the makeup trailer to be a part of it and screaming.
The plot of “The Bride!”
“Bride!” Focuses on the bride of Frankenstein’s monster. The film is directly based on the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein. Set against the backdrop of 1930s Chicago, the film is based on When the Monster Asks Dr. Euphronius for a Favor. He says he wants a companion and asks the doctor to make him a bride. Together, with the help of science and something else in between, they bring back to life a dead woman whose name has not been revealed, but is known as the Bride.
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters around the world on March 6.
