Well-wishers offered veteran screenwriter Salim Khan prayers for his recovery after he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Doctors informed the media that he suffered a minor brain hemorrhage and subsequently underwent surgery.
In the days that followed, several members of the film’s team – including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Ranveer Singh – visited the hospital to extend their support to the family.Now, actress Daisy Shah, who shared screen space with Salman Khan in Jai Ho, has given an update on Salim Khan’s condition.Speaking in a recent interaction, Daisy revealed that although she did not meet the family in person at the hospital, she regularly checked in on Salman.
She told Filmygyan, “I was not able to meet Salim sir, but I am in constant contact with Salman sir and his family. Salim Sir is fine now. His condition is stable. The surgery went well, it was successful and he is under observation, but he is out of danger.”

Following the surgical procedure, the hospital issued a medical bulletin regarding his health condition. However, according to sources cited by Variety India, the Khan family was reportedly unhappy with the details being shared publicly.
They view the matter as quite personal and believe that any communication about their condition should come directly from them.The source said: “Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers. Salman and his family were upset by the doctor’s public statement, and have clearly informed the authorities that they do not want any further details to be revealed.”The source added: “It is understood that there is great public interest in Salim Saab’s health, but medical information is a confidential matter. The family wants to avoid any unnecessary speculation or media scrutiny surrounding Salim Khan’s condition.”Since then, hospital authorities have refrained from issuing additional data about his health condition.
