Arijit Singh writes emotional message to fans after announcing his retirement; He says the pending songs will continue to be released “maybe until next year.”

After announcing his retirement from singing earlier this year, Arijit Singh has once again reached out to his fans – this time with a deeply personal and emotional message. While he has stopped accepting new assignments, the singer explained that several unfinished songs are still waiting to be released in the coming months.

“This message is for listeners only.”

Taking to X, Arijit shared a heartfelt message exclusively addressed to his fans.“This message is for my listeners only. Please don’t read and pass it on now if you’re not my listener, it’s a humble request. Hello beautiful people! ❤️ I just want to tell you everything I love you. Thank you so much for your kindness in this unforgiving world,” he wrote.Reassuring fans that his voice will continue to be heard despite his decision, he added: “Although I have stopped taking on new assignments, the list of pending songs is no less as you know.

I will have to complete a lot of songs. Don’t engage in explaining to people, how often will you? There are a lot of unfinished songs, and they will continue to release them until they are finished. Maybe during this entire year. Maybe it will touch next year too.

He concluded the note with a spiritual plea: “Be peaceful. Try to get off this platform. Remove the spike proteins from your body, leave the 5g, read, love, meditate. Jay Devi!”

The decision marked the end of what he described as a “wonderful” journey.Soon after this announcement, reports emerged that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan had flown to Arijit’s hometown, Murshidabad, to meet him in person. On Monday, a behind-the-scenes video from the shooting of the title song for Junaid Khan’s film Ek Din was released. The clip shows glimpses of Aamir spending time with Arijit and his family, from sharing meals and flying kites to recording a song together.

The candid moments reflected genuine warmth, respect and affection.During the visit, Amer made an emotional appeal to the singer. “Do you want to take a break for some time or don’t you want to sing for Hindi films? Aise mat kar yaar, hum logon ka kya hoga bhai?” He said in the video, urging him to reconsider his decision.

“It was a wonderful trip”

Last January, Arijit informed his fans via Instagram that he would no longer be handling the new operating duties.

“Hey, Happy New Year everyone. I want to thank you all for giving me so much love all these years as listeners. I’m happy to announce that I won’t be taking on any new duties as a playback singer from now on. I’ve canceled it. It’s been an amazing ride,” he wrote.
