Taylor Frankie Paul is not afraid to be honest.

About a month before making her national debut as the lead on The Bachelorette, the veteran reality star got honest about her recent mental health struggles, emphasizing the importance of checking in with others… even when they’re the ones reaching out.

Everyone needs some help sometimes.

“I think the positive side of mental suffering is that you start to feel and see signs of others who are feeling the same,” Ball captioned a video posted to her Instagram account on February 18. “We’re just here checking up on each other when we can, and when we don’t respond, it’s not taken personally because we understand that.”

The 31-year-old continued:

“Just keep in mind that sometimes that person checking in is the person who needs help… and that person has taken the time to learn.

“Sometimes I ask myself what the point of all this sharing is and I tell myself it might be as simple as making someone feel less alone and if it helps a few people more than others.” [sic] “It’s worth it.”

Paul rose to fame as a cast member on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. It’s still unclear what her status on the Hulu series is in the wake of her choice to be The Bachelorette.

It also remains unclear whether or not Paul finds love as an anchor for this dating competition. We don’t encounter many spoilers on The Bachelorette these days.

Along with the above message, Ball posted a set of videos containing examples of her recent vulnerabilities.

The snaps – which were set to ‘rescue’ Lauren Daigle – included a selfie taken by the ambitious wife after crying. Although she smiled with a thumbs up, her black eyeliner was visibly smudged underneath. She was clearly going through that.

“There are signs of a mental struggle other than the obvious,” Paul — who shares daughter Indi, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul; “And one of the clips that took time to recognize is… sometimes the person checking in is actually a cry for help,” Ever, who is 23 months along with ex Dakota Mortensen, wrote above the clip.

Maybe the most controversial As a member of the MomTok community, Paul has made headlines in the past for participating in various sex parties.

She announced her divorce in a live broadcast in May 2022, which followed the revelation She and her ex-husband were prostitutes.

In February of 2023, Taylor was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors; She was booked at the time for assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child.
