This is said to offer fans the first comprehensive account of the making of the iconic film, while also exploring Hepburn’s star power and the cultural moment that shaped the production.

News of her casting as an icon comes after years of fans campaigning relentlessly for Hepburn to be played in a biopic. “Lily Collins should play Audrey Hepburn in a biopic,” fans tweeted in 2019.
