French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barot said he would summon US Ambassador to France Charles Kushner over his comments regarding the killing of French terrorist activist Quentin DeRanc.
Derank was beaten to death in Lyon last week in a fight with far-left activists.
The US Embassy in France and the US State Department’s Counter-Terrorism Bureau said they were monitoring the case, both warning that “violent radical leftism is on the rise” in X and should be considered a threat to public safety.
