Speaking after the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi targeted the previous Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) governments, comparing them to the current BJP-led NDA government. The Prime Minister claimed that the world had “earlier been reluctant to engage” with previous governments due to “fraud”, but had now “trusted” India.

“These days you can see how much people around the world trust India. Many developed countries are signing trade agreements with India today,” Prime Minister Modi said, adding that the Congress governments have not been able to finalize such agreements.

“There was a time when Congress governments could not finalize such agreements even if they wanted to, because the world hesitated to deal with a government notorious for scams. But today’s developed countries are keen to partner with India,” the Prime Minister said.

He added that countries now feel that India has the capacity to provide solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.

He also attacked opposition governments, saying their infrastructure projects were “wasting in fraud.”

“When the Congress and Samajwadi Party governments were in power in Delhi, all this was not possible… Even most of the technology related to the Metro had to be imported from abroad. We have stopped the scams and taken the country forward on the path of self-reliance,” PM Modi said.

Responding to the Congress’ protest during the AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Prime Minister Modi said the party had turned a global event “into a platform for its dirty and naked politics”.

Regarding the summit, Prime Minister Modi said: “You have just witnessed the world’s largest AI conference in India. Delegates from more than 80 countries came to Delhi. Heads of state from around 20 countries came to India,” adding that the entire country is “full of pride.”

“But what did the Congress and its ecosystem do? The Congress turned a global event for India into a platform for its dirty and shameful politics,” Prime Minister Modi said. Criticizing the opposition party, the Prime Minister added: “I ask the Congress, the state knows that you are already naked, so why did you feel the need to take off your clothes?”

Namo Bharat RRTS Metro was inaugurated from the same platform for the first time: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that this is the first time that the Namo Bharat Rapid Railway and Metro service will be inaugurated on the same day from the same platform. “Today, a new revolution is gaining energy for a developed Uttar Pradesh and a developed India…and this is a great glimpse of what connectivity will be like in Vixit Bharat,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi said the metro would facilitate travel and connectivity within the city, while a “modern train like Namo Bharat” would accelerate the “dual city vision”.

Lauding the BJP’s “business culture”, PM Modi said that once the project is inaugurated, the party is working “day and night to complete it”. He added: “For this reason, projects are no longer stopped or lost in the middle of the road as they were before.”
