After boarding the ship, officials identified it as… The chosen one. There were four Iranian crew members on board the boat. During a detailed search of the storage areas, officers found 200 cartons containing about a thousand packs of foreign brand cigarettes.

The boxes were hidden deep in the ship.The boat and its crew were detained. The Coast Guard said that the ship is being escorted to Porbandar for further investigation and joint interrogation with other concerned agencies.This seizure comes just days after another naval operation. On February 17, the Indian Coast Guard carried out an intelligence-led operation at sea in cooperation with the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad.
