Ingredients you need for tofu burgers with tahini sauce [Vegan]
Burgers
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons mixed beans
- 200g tofu (firm)
- 2-3 pieces sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- 1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds (optional)
- Parsley (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Seasoning ingredients
- 1 tablespoon tahini paste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 teaspoons cassis
- 1 teaspoon shoyu or tamari
- 2-4 tablespoons water
How to prepare tofu burgers with tahini sauce [Vegan]
- Chop the onion, garlic and carrots and fry briefly with the sprouts until soft.
- Quickly puree in a blender or food processor with tofu, sun-dried tomatoes, and parsley (optional).
- Add rice flour, salt and pepper as desired, and mix the ingredients well.
- Either with the help of 2 tablespoons or your hands, form 6 burgers and roll them in hemp seeds (optional).
- Heat the oil in the frying pan. Bake the burgers over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
- Prepare the tahini sauce by whisking all ingredients except water. Gradually add water until you reach the consistency you desire.
- Serve the burger with sauce and green salad.
