Michael Jackson’s name has been named after Jeffrey Epstein, leading many to wonder if the Smooth Criminal singer’s name appeared in Epstein’s files. This comes after the Ministry of Justice released the latest batch of documents linked to the person convicted of sexual crimes against children.

This coincides with an allegation circulating on social media that Jackson used his Neverland ranch to protect children from what happened on Epstein’s island. Little St. James, the small island in the US Virgin Islands, is believed to have been one of the locations where Epstein and his associates exploited minors.

“Michael Jackson used Neverland to protect children from Epstein,” one person wrote on X.

One person also claimed that “Michael Jackson was silenced because of what he knew about Epstein’s ‘elite’.”

Another added: “They say Neverland is where Michael Jackson took the kids to protect them from what was happening on Epstein’s island.” Another claimed, “Michael Jackson protected children from child abuse. In a recent interview, Macaulay Culkin shared how Michael Jackson saved him from getting on a plane to an island linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Jackson kept him from going, to protect him from harm,” Culkin explained.

This refers to a Home Alone actor, but unfortunately this claim is incorrect and has been verified by Snopes.

Likewise, there is no evidence to suggest that MJ used his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, California to protect children from what happened on Epstein’s island. Jackson died in 2009, years before Epstein’s activities became public. He never spoke publicly about Epstein either, according to reports. Thus, the claims about Neverland appear to be false, and just social media gossip.

Michael Jackson in the Epstein files?

There is a photo of MJ with Epstein but their meeting was reported to have been very brief and strictly professional.

Aside from that, the singer appears fleetingly in Epstein’s files, without direct mention. One “Michael Jackson” who appears several times in Epstein’s files appears to be someone associated with interior decorating, who worked in his kitchen.

The renewed interest in Jackson also comes after a report on February 1 that a never-before-heard audio recording of the singer had been accessed. “The kids…just want to touch me and hug me. The kids end up falling in love with my personality – and sometimes that gets me into trouble,” she says, according to The Guardian. The singer faced accusations of child sexual assault in 1993.
