NAGPUR: A four-year-old boy was accidentally locked inside the classroom of his school at Khabarkheda in Nagpur, triggering panic in his family. Himanshu Bagde, who lives just half a kilometer from the school, wandered into the classroom while playing on Wednesday, unaware that staff would later lock the building without checking the rooms, reports Soumitra Bose. When Himanshu did not return home, his father filed a complaint about his disappearance. The police launched a search operation involving multiple teams across the city, but it remains untraceable. The breach came around 10am on Thursday when school staff visited the building. Himanshu is found sleeping inside the locked classroom. The boy was immediately reunited with his parents. It was a lucky escape for the boy as it was a school holiday and the staff only visited the school to supervise some construction work going on.
