The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an advisory on the circulation of fake news about question paper leaks and distribution of alleged question papers for the CBSE 2026 board examination.

As per the advisory, CBSE urged parents, students, schools and all relevant stakeholders to remain vigilant and not be led by unverified news/rumours or fake news on various social media platforms during exams.

The Board also assured all students, parents and teachers that robust arrangements and stringent procedures have been put in place to ensure that the Board examinations are conducted smoothly, safely and fairly like previous years.

Any attempt to spread misleading information or disrupt the examination process will be strictly dealt with by the Board in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations,” the official notice said.

The CBSE board exam for Class 10 began on February 17 and will end on March 11, 2026, and the Class 12 board exam began on February 17 and will end on April 10, 2026. The exam will be held in one shift – from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Today, there is no exam for 10th grade. For class 12th – Engineering Graphics, Dance, Horticulture and Cost Accounting papers will be done. For more related details, candidates can check the official website of CBSE.
