Mamta Mohandis reveals that she is dating an engaged actor
Mamta revealed that she dated two men after her cancer treatment and before her marriage in 2011 to Prajith. “I met two men a few years before I got married. What’s interesting is that even before I started a relationship, my diagnosis happened. I got married after the first year of my cancer treatment. One of the reasons for the rush was to fulfill all the other expectations I had as a woman. I had no practice in relationships or dating,” she said.
She then revealed that she dated two men before getting married, including the actor. “I dated two men before getting married. It was very ridiculous how much trust we put in another person. I only dated one guy from cinema at that time. He was engaged when he asked me out on a date. I only found out about it a month later from his brother. I think he was seeing someone, and I have to tell you frankly that he is engaged,” Mamta said. “Obviously I was sad.”
The actress and singer stated that the other man she dated was “MIA” the whole time. She stated that she was wrong in assuming that her partners would take her “seriously” given her second lease on life after cancer. She put it down to her being “too young” to know any better.
