Jahnavi Kandula family, a 23-year-old Indian student dies in US police accident A few years ago, her father suffered a second devastating blow after he died just two days earlier Announcement of $29 million settlement agreement.
On January 23, 2023, Jahnavi lost her life after being run over by a speeding Seattle police vehicle while crossing the street. The officer concerned was responding to an emergency call at the time.
A relative of Jahnavi said PTI Retired police constable Kandula Srikanth died of heart attack on February 10 in Kurnool district.
“His (Sreekanth) last rites were performed at Adoni on Wednesday (February 11, 2026) as the family faces yet another devastating loss,” relatives said on Friday (February 13).
The family is currently grieving, and it is inappropriate to talk about compensation money, he said.
Jahnavi was a master’s student in information systems at Northeastern University’s Seattle campus.
