FWICE writes to Chief Government Officer Devendra Fadnavis over celebrity threats
In its letter, FWICE wrote: “In recent days, several prominent and prominent figures in the film, television and digital media industries have reportedly received threats and been subjected to alarming security threats. These incidents have not only caused suffering to those directly affected, but have also created an atmosphere of anxiety and uncertainty throughout the industry.”The letter also said: “The repeated nature of such threats, direct or indirect, raises serious questions about the security system required for those associated with this vital sector.”The film studio has expressed concern over the growing safety and security concerns of celebrities. The federation said the industry is not only the backbone of actors, directors and screenwriters, but also the livelihood of technicians, daily wage earners and other skilled workers.
The letter said: “FWICE represents dozens of workers, including artists, technicians, laborers, behind-the-scenes workers and many other skilled and unskilled professionals who make up the backbone of the entertainment industry. Any threat to prominent members of the fraternity inevitably affects the thousands of workers whose livelihoods depend on the smooth and safe operation of production.
