Photos released by the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department show a man approaching the front door of Nancy Guthrie’s home near Tucson. The man is wearing gloves, a ski mask and a backpack and appears to have a firearm secured in a holster.
Sharing the images on X, FBI Director Kash Patel said, “Over the past eight days, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, destroyed or inaccessible. Located on backend systems.”
“Working with our partners – as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed man tampering with a camera on Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”

Who is the masked man?After the picture was released, social media users started speculating about the identity of the masked man.
Some online posts claim the man could be Dominic Aaron Lee Evans, a friend of musician Nancy Guthrie’s son-in-law Tommaso Cioni.
These claims have only emerged from social media and have not been confirmed by law enforcement agencies.
According to Parade, Dominic Evans was Tommaso Cioni’s bandmate. The two together in 2007 guitarist Walter I. Formed the band Early Black with Gonsalves Jr.
Sioni played bass while Evans served as the band’s drummer.
Does Dominic Evans have a criminal history?Some social media users have also circulated court records of the accused claiming that Evans has a criminal history, including a past burglary in Pima County, Arizona.
